Week Two: Bring It Lyme

Today marks the beginning of week two with treatment.
In this week's medicine regime, we will add an additional antibiotic.
So far I think today went well. I am trying to keep food on my stomach to help minimize the nausea. During the IV's today I didn't feel amazing, but was pleasantly surprised I wasn't incredibly sick!
I even got to take a little time outside to video chat a friend for her birthday and pull weeds out a couple of planters. To be outside is so good for my soul, especially while it's not as hot out. (You know, I can't sweat with the central line.)
Tomorrow we will have our 2nd dressing change and continue with the protocol.
Along with the above stated, I appreciate your prayers as my body begins to process the antibiotics. Each day my stomach hurts a little more. It particularly reminds me of treatments prior with that very familiar pain, inciting anxiety.
Also, thank you for continued prayer for better sleep. I need to start the IV bags earlier in the day, but in order to do so I need my body & mind to calm down so that I can get to sleep earlier.
Hey, thank you to those who have all reached out, those of you who are praying and thinking about me, even those who have sent cards and packages. It means a lot to have so many genuinely care and invest in me during this time!
