The Big News is In 11/28/22

What a whirlwind. I have been out of commission the last two weeks with a nasty bug or the flu. I apologize for the extended wait time on an update.

Finished up treatment at the beginning of November. It was a tough protocol. A lot of time was spent in the bed but made it through. The second week of November we drove up to Washington, D.C. for an appointment.

In the appointment many things were discussed. The big thing is that we are moving to the next stage of treatment. I will no longer be doing IV antibiotics but begin aggressive oral antibiotics. We are keeping the port in for at least two more months to keep my hydration up and help with detox during this stage.

I was supposed to begin my first protocol the week of Thanksgiving but unfortunately, I caught some sort of stomach virus or flu and have been pretty sick. Being sick has added complications and set me back a bit with treatment. We are currently trying to stabilize these things so I can begin treating again.

I’ve been a bit miserable with flares and side effects, really hoping things even out very soon. Please be praying for me as I am trying to get foods in, restart all my regular medications, and for my skin and gut as we navigate the MCAS flare, its painful and honestly driving my bonkers.

Thank you for all those still riding along this journey with me. I appreciate all your prayers, love, and support. You make a big difference in my day to day.

I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving and look forward to what’s in store through this next season.

Wonderful news! I'm thrilled that your IV treatments are over!! Praying this journey is much easier as you begin the oral medications. God Is So Good 🙌🙏
