Thankful Thursday: So Thankful for a Better Day Today!

Before I go into todays update, I want to show two pictures of last year on this day and this year. Its really a big deal and amazing how God has orchestrated seeing my Lyme Specialist in Washington, Dc. On the left are pictures from my first appointment with my specialist and then the right is today. Man, isn't God good?!?

Well, I am so grateful for all the prayers last night and today. Thank you for all the well wishes and for checking in on me. Today has had its own struggles but so much better than yesterday. Today is an LR bag day, so its larger but usually not as intensive as antibiotic days. I have to slow everything down with the bags, which makes them take a lot longer, but again so much better than yesterday.

My stomach has been bothering me as well as my back today, but mom helped me walk to the mailbox today! (I was hooked up because the bags take so long for me.) Man, it was windy and chilly, but such a pretty day. I didn't realize how that short walk would tucker me out but it did.

I had virtual counseling today, which went well, I felt really encouraged. I tried working on some organizing after the appointment, though a simple task, it was exhausting and I had to walk away. (Its tough for me to leave things undone, even now I am thinking hmm I could try to get that task done before I go to sleep...haha)

Late this afternoon, I took my pole to the back porch and sat bundled up for a few minutes. Nice breath of fresh air. Oh, and I found a gray treefrog balled up with my plants. I think its the same one that jumped on my toe last year, because its in the same place. I gave it some warmer surroundings for the oddly cold nights we've been having.
