"Technical Issues" & Plant Fairy Visits

Well today was a day...
Things started out okay today. I was even able to get up earlier in the morning to start the IV bag earlier. Unfortunately, we ran into several issues while hanging the bag that continued dragging things out. Then things sped up very where the bag dropped quickly rushing the meds into my system. Because of this once the bag was empty it creates a vacuum suction and began pulling blood into the tubing. We did what we have been instructed but it didn't stop. Eventually, with Mom's help, we got everything back to normal, but I felt poorly afterwards.

I tried to lie down for a while and even took Tylenol PM to see if I might could sleep. After a couple hours I did get a nap!
When I woke up I still felt icky, BUT the plant fairy had visited with a plant I have been wanting!
Silver linings, right?
Tonight was dressing change night. Its a little more stressful because we must keep a sterile area. Also, my skin is pretty inflamed from the dressing, especially painful when its removed, because its as if it is glued to tender skin. But we made it a family event tonight for a smoother change. So grateful for my parents!
Tomorrow is IV antibiotic day plus the new antibiotic.
Thank you for praying for me for a smoother day tomorrow, a calm stomach & gut, and improved eating. (Today food was repulsive, made me nauseous to think about it.)
I feel like God has been extremely gracious to me in the first week and a half of treatment. I am still surprised I have not had a worse reaction to the meds so far.
Honestly, your prayers and simply checking in on me, from day to day is truly encouraging. You are making a huge difference in my day.
Thank you!
