Scrub-a-Dub-Dub a Bit of Skin Hell After the Tub

"Colors are the smiles of nature."

Today was a long day. I still feel like time is moving slowly or maybe I am moving slowly through the last couple days. But today went alright.

Mom helped me get a bath today. It was a two hour process. To start we had to cover and protect the central line covering. I cannot let the seal or nor port ever get wet, so we have to secure it. We did so using a water shield. It was a bit large, so we had to improvise. The bath went interesting, but so very glad I was able to get clean. My skin reacted poorly to the shield. I won't include all of the pictures but very angry skin. Once I was done and dressed, Mom washed my hair. It's so different when you can't do simple things, but definitely a humbling experience.

After getting clean, I could have gone to bed. Instead, I took meds and ate. Mom even walked with me to the mailbox. It was beautiful out. Lovely to see so many things blooming and all the colors outside. I found myself wanting to get on the ground, upside-down to get some cool pictures. I also, kept yearning to start gardening. Those aren't really the kind of things I will be doing this year. BUT I am hopeful that I can have a makeshift garden that will fit on some shelving in the shade with plants from my local garden shop. Not sure if that will happen, but a girl can dream.

Anyway, the day went well. l completely wore myself out, probably did too much. Continued itchiness under the bandage, muscle aches, limited range of motion, but chest pain elevated a bit. I am completely okay, but appreciate all of you lifting me up.
