Overcoming Feelings of Defeat

So I wanna be super real and vulnerable here. Today I felt incredibly defeated . The feeling of defeat led to feeling really overwhelmed and emotional on multiple levels. It’s interesting how that happens in life. I think today I could have felt seriously hopeless, but I didn’t.
Am I having real raw conversations with God?
Oooh yes! But He welcomes that!
I want to encourage anyone who is feeling defeated, overwhelmed, or hopeless. There are so many things you cannot control, may not understand, or feel you won’t be able to withstand. Know this, at some point somehow this season will be over and there will be another one. Know that there is no shame nor condemnation in feeling those things.
No matter what you believe, dawn is coming, His mercies are new every morning, you are loved, you are valued, there is healing, there is freedom, and there is Hope.
(If you need to vent or process or help with new perspective or even prayer reach out to someone you feel safe and free to do so. It’s important.)
I’m so grateful for those who encouraged me today, who were very present during my feelings of despair. My circumstance may still be the same but relief from the feelings makes a Huge difference in the meantime.
