"I found out that my world was bigger on the land that raised my family." - His & Hers

WOW. Today was awesome.

The benefit show the band His & Hers had was amazing and there was such a great turnout. A huge thank you to the band as well as The Station for having us today. If you haven't listened to any of His & Hers go check them out and they just put out a ne album! http://www.hisandhersnc.com/

Also, if you anywhere near Mocksville, check out The Station. They've got great drinks and seating. The general store have snow cones and great local goodies. www.185northmain.com

It was great seeing everyone. There were a lot of new faces as well as folks I haven't seen some folks since 2003, so good to catch up! It did my heart good to be outside with folks and live music.

Again thank you so much to Caleb and Sara Davis with His& Hers.

I was tuckered out after the show with a bit of sunburn. I kept saying it was really hot out

in the shade. Nikki touched my arm and asked, " Why are you so hot?" So temperature regulation is really hard for my body. When I am hot I am burning up, when I am cold I am beyond freezing. Once I got home I still had to do a bag, get an Epsom soak in, start some new meds, and prepare for this week.

In other news, the meds are starting to effect my stomach much more heavily. I am having several joint and nerve issues that are resurfacing that were really troublesome five years ago. I've got to believe that means the Lyme bacteria is dying in many places throughout my body. I am also having a lot of pain my spine. Sleeping continues to be a struggle at night no matter how tired. haha But I am much more exhausted easier lately, so here's to hoping for naps.

This week will be one of my hardest weeks thus far in treatment.

Please be praying for me as this week unfolds.

-Stomach issues

-Flares in my joints and nerves

-Tolerating new medications

-My skin as it is very sensitive to the tape and bandages

-Sleep & naps (The DR. wants me to sleep any time I feel tired.)
