Big Day Tomorrow

Will it be easy? Nope. Will it be worth it? Absolutely!
Tomorrow is the big day. Some have asked me what I mean by starting treatment tomorrow. Tomorrow I begin the IV antibiotic treatments at home. This past week in DC was just to get the central line placed and an appointment with my Specialist where we tried out two meds to check for allergies. The real beginning to this treatment journey begins tomorrow.
I have also had the question asking how this is the beginning with I have treated before. That is true I have been aggressively treating Lyme for five years now, but this treatment I am starting is a different more intensive long-term treatment. Keep in mind the Specialist has extensive knowledge and experience treating Lyme patients and the treatment has a high success rate.
Today I tried to be really gentle with my arm and careful of lifting and movement. I did a lot around the house and worked on organizing the "medical station." Still figuring a few things out but getting more settled in.
I've got several things I need to do tonight still.
So thank you to those who messaged me today praying for tomorrow.
*I have to start early mornings tomorrow, please pray I can truly get to sleep and then get up in the morning.
*Also, please be praying that getting everything started goes smoothly and for my stomach. Most times I get pretty sick on my stomach when taking antibiotics for Lyme.
*We are also doing our first dressing change tomorrow night. It is of the utmost importance that everything is sterile and done very precisely.
Thank you again for loving on me and supporting me in so many ways.
Let's go kick some Lyme booty!!!
