BBQ Fundraiser Was A HUGE Success!

The Davie County BBQ Benefit was very successful.

Thank you to all who were involved in making the BBQ happen. There are so many people I would like to thank.

I am overwhelmed with gratitude at how many people worked behind these scenes for weeks prior selling tickets and getting the word out, donating funding for supplies, getting the food ready, those who donated the meat, buns, and other ingredients, as well as facilities to make the slaw, and a space to have the BBQ. Everyone who volunteered on Saturday cooking, chopping, packaging, directing traffic, collecting money and tickets, thank you.

Davie Enterprise even did an article about my journey and promoting the BBQ.

We had quite the outcome for the fundraiser. Davie County, and other surrounding counties, really came together to support me. Folks bought , picked up BBQ, and often donated even further!

It was so good to see so many folks rally for a local. I met amazing Davie County citizens as well as such supportive businesses in Advance and even Mocksville too.

I learned so much through this and have been encouraged even more so.

I will be further fundraising, but because of everyone's generosity, in so many ways, I am much closer to getting this treatment!
