Back to NC, Ready to Fight Lyme One Flush At a Time.

Today we drove back home from DC.
I had a tough time getting to sleep last night but slept better than the nights prior. I tried doing a sink bath this morning, I just had to laugh.

My dressing area has started to itch but must be kept sterile so I will be practicing mind over matter.
I was welcomed home this evening with chalk pictures and messages from the neighbor's kids in the driveway. A friend also brought some lovely flowers.
We did our first home flush and now I am tuckered out. I will probably need a recovery day tomorrow.
Also, today is my Dad's 71st bday. We sang and gave gifts. So grateful that even on his bday, my Dad is still there supporting me, driving 6-7 hours loving on me.
Please continue to pray for me as we find our footing with treatment. Its definitely an adjustment.
Pray for sleep and rest during the day. Also, tomorrow I want to try out a shower of some sort, pray that I can and that the dressing will not get wet.
Always, thank you for you prayers and support. For those who have been checking in on me, thank you means a lot and is very encouraging.
