Update 3/17/22-3/24/22

“Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.” – Harriet Beecher Stow

I am two weeks out of the “kill zone” part of treatment and having a better week. This week has been busy for sure though.

I had a phone appointment with my Lyme Specialist on Tuesday. I feel like it went really well. We discussed symptoms and effects of treatment, as well as concerns. I am still dealing with a lot of things, but they are coming out of improvements. My immune system continues to wake up. This is great but my system is very angry about the whole Lyme situation, now that it is taking part in the fight. This results in getting almost sicker than before, which also explains why the last two protocols have been so brutal. Because of this, though the protocol will be very similar to the last, the doctor is giving me an off day in the middle of the “kill zone” week. The next treatment protocol begins March 28. Please be praying as I get ready for it as well as begin the regime.

I did have some blood work done with a few results not being so great so, I will continue to work with my doctors to improve those results.

An additional appointment I had this week was with my eye doctor. He is continually working with a few issues and has referred me to a neuro ophthalmologist. Hopefully this specialist will have some answers for my eyes.

This week has also been filled with birthday and my parents’ anniversary on Saturday! We got to celebrate my niece Hannah for a couple hours, which was very fulfilling. She is such a light and a joy to all who encounter her. She was so excited and grateful for even the smallest thing on her birthday, such a beautiful heart. She’s growing into a wonderful young lady, full of big ideas and creativity. I love being her Auntie.

This week the t-shirt contest is well underway. There have been so many amazing

designs entered in already! I am so excited and encouraged by the participation. There are

FOUR more days to get your entries submitted. Remember it must include “Hope.” Also, you can enter in more than one entry, keep it simple though. If you want, you can design front or back or even front AND back. Remember no colors and all entries must be submitted to feelinglymie@gmail.com. Last day to enter is Sunday, March 27 by 11:59 pm. For more information click on the link below to read guidelines and the why behind the theme of the t-shirt. https://fb.me/e/1Eri7oM3x

Another exciting thing is the video that we worked on last week is up and running on the GiveSendGo site as well as my YouTube channel. Please give the short video a listen and consider giving, praying, and sharing. Thank you, a head of time. Ways pray or get involved:

Be praying as I prepare for treatment and for the start of treatment.

Pray my body and mind can continue to withstand treatment, within all its challenges.

Pray there would be a great response and outpouring with this new financial campaign.

Pray for many will continue to take part in the t-shirt contest, as well as the polls voting to show interest in top shirts, and lastly for wisdom in choosing the winner.

Pray for steps to resolve some of the issues dealing with my eyes and blood work results.

Thank you all for being a part of my journey, partnering in several ways to help me continue treatment.
